Over half a million people in Switzerland are affected by a rare disease, yet the needs and experiences of patients are often overlooked – both in disease management and in political decision-making.
The stakeholder event brought together key players from the Swiss healthcare system to discuss a “Patient-Centered Healthcare System” for rare diseases. The goal was to spark constructive dialogue and provide insights on improving the systematic inclusion of patients.
Over 50 participants engaged in an open dialogue, emphasizing the importance of incorporating the experiences of patient organizations into Swiss healthcare policy. The company remains committed to ensuring that patients are heard and that meaningful change is achieved.
